Katy Perry is on the cover of Elle’s September issue. I suppose this image is very Katy: the neon, sparkles, purple hair but it just doesn’t seem like Elle to me. I do like the dress she’s wearing but that awful wig is so distracting. It kind of reminds me of this disaster.

Katy Perry is on the cover of the music issue of Teen Vogue. I kind of love Katy’s cobalt hair so I like that the styling really plays to that. In her cover story she mentions that Judy Jetson is one of her style icons and the Zac Posen dress she is wearing here is definitely futuristic chic. I was initially surprised to see Katy on the cover of TV but the more I think about the more it makes sense.

Katy Perry and her pink hair cover the October issue of InStyle magazine. I have to admit that I am not the biggest fan of InStyle covers. In general, they look overly photoshopped to me, however I do like Katy’s cover. Her Gwen Stefani-esque coif looks great with her jewel-encrusted Emanuel Ungaro gown.
